Oxford Learner's Dictionaries にて、添付画像の for の用法がありました。
The weather was warm for the time of year.
She's tall for her age.
He’s not bad for a beginner.
That's too much responsibility for a child.
意味合いとしては、「～の割に」とか「～にしては」のような感じだと思いますが、なぜそのような意味になるのかよくわかりませんでした。
ご教示ください。よろしくお願いします。
The weather was warm for the time of year.
She's tall for her age.
He’s not bad for a beginner.
That's too much responsibility for a child.

Old English for "before, in the sight of, in the presence of; as far as; during, before; on account of, for the sake of; in place of, instead of," from Proto-Germanic *fur "before; in"
古英語で「for」の語形で、次の意味を表していた：
・before（[場所的な意味で]～の前に」
・in the sight of（～を目の当たりにして）
・in the presence of（～があって、～がいて）
・as far as（～の限り）
・during（～の間中）
・on account of（～について）
・for the sake of（～のために）
・in place of（～に代わって）
・in stead of（～の代わりに）
これらの意味を通じて、一貫して表されていたのは、「何か、誰かがそこに存在していて、それが存在してる間は、その存在のために」という意味合いです。

気候が温かい/1年の今ごろという時期において
→この季節にしては
She's tall for her age.
彼女は背が高い/彼女の年齢のために
→年令の割りに
He’s not bad for a beginner.
彼は下手ではない（うまい方だ）/初心者のために
→初心者にしては
That's too much responsibility for a child.
それは責任が重すぎる/子供のために
→子供にとっては、子供に対しては
などどんな使われ方をしても、もともと持っていた意味全体が把握できるとしっくりくると思います。
